Thank you for supporting the arts and purchasing hand-made, original works by Meghan Q. McCook and Glashjärta Glass! Your satisfaction is my top priority. If you have a problem with a transaction, please contact me via email (meghanqmccook@gmail.com) or phone (773.892.6984), and I will work with you to resolve any issue. I will make every effort to respond to all customer service inquiries within 2 business days.

Ordering and Payment

All ordering and payments are communicated through email and sometimes telephone. When interested in ordering, please email me with the items that you are interested in purchasing. Tell me your NAME, ADDRESS, TELEPHONE NUMBER and specify the EMAIL to be invoiced. Be very SPECIFIC: which items you would like to purchase, including NECKLACE LENGTHS if applicable.

Currently I am using UPS or FedEx. Shipping varies depending on weight of order + insurance cost. If you live in the Chicago area, a pick up or drop off may be arranged. See below under Shipping Policy. Please allow a day for response to your order request or questions. (On occasion, I will be unable to process your order within a day, but will atleast respond with an email of notification.) In this response I will email an invoice to you in which you will be able to pay your balance via PayPal, regardless of whether you have an account with PayPal or not. I will pull the desired order from the on-line catalog and put on hold for 1 day after I send an invoice to you. If the invoice is not paid within 24 hours, the merchandise from the order will be taken off hold.

Custom and/or Multiple Quantity Orders

It is possible to order more than one of any design. If you would like to order more than one of any design there are a few things to take into consideration.

1. No two items are exactly alike. All GG works are handmade by Meghan Q. McCook and are one of a kind. That said, many designs can be made similar to the original.
2. If more than a quantity of one is ordered of any single design, this is considered a customized job. They will have to be specially made. This will prolong shipping by at least 1-2 weeks. Depending on the size of the order, it may take up to 30 days. It is best to contact me with requests before making a multiple quantity order. At that time, I can give you a more specific time frame. If you need an order made very quickly, say for bridesmaid gifts, I can work with you at an increased payment rate.

Shipping Policy

Upon RECEIPT OF PAYMENT from customer, the order will be shipped out within 1 business day, unless otherwise notified. All orders are shipped through UPS or FedEx (ground), unless other arrangements are made with customer. Time permitting, quicker shipping arrangements may be made (2 Day, 1 Day, Overnight).

*All products sold from GG are made of glass. All products are professionally packed and sent as fragile products. If the occasion arises where the product arrives broken due to a damaged package, I will assist the customer to the best of my ability to receive the insurance refund from the used mail service. It is your responsibility to report any damage to the used mail service IMMEDIATELY to be refunded insurance money. Glashjärta Glass is not responsible for damage to a product due to careless shipping by mail service.
*NOTE- If you live in Chicago and would prefer not to pay for shipping, you may arrange a pick up with me in the Wicker Park, Bucktown, Ukranian Village, Logan Square area. A small Handling Fee will be charged depending on size of order.

Return/Exchange Policy

Glashjärta Glass does not issue refunds, unless under said circumstance detailed below. However, in hopes that each customer receives a product that they love, I will extend an exchange policy within reason. Upon receipt of payment to GG, the customer has 21 days to return the product for an exchange with a product of equal value. Of course, the product must be returned in brand new condition. If there is any suspicion of ‘wear' of product or damage to product by customer, the exchange policy will be void and the product will be returned to the customer. For any exchange, the customer will be charged a 7% re-stocking/re-shipping fee. Please contact me within the 21-day time limit to arrange an exchange.

Instance of Refund

Under rare circumstances, an item may be ordered on-line which may have been sold earlier that day. In such cases, I will notify you within 1 business day. At that time you may choose to wait for a custom order to be made in the same design or choose a different item.
